After 12 Years With BBDO, Lowe’s has launched a full creative agency review. In a significant break from the standard AOR approach, Lowe’s is looking for multiple shops to handle future campaigns. BBDO is participating in the review. Lowe’s spent approximately $400 million on measured media in the U.S. last year.
Three months after naming a new U.S. chief marketing officer, Dunkin’ Donuts has put its U.S. creative business up for review. Hill Holliday has served as agency of record since 1998. It is not yet clear whether Hill Holiday will defend the account. Dunkin’ Donuts spent around $150 million on measured media in the U.S. last year.
Two months after BMW announced a U.S. creative agency review, incumbent KBS confirmed it will not participate. KBS has been working with the automaker for more than a decade. Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy, Anomaly, Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Hill Holliday are believed to be competing in the review. BMW spent over $272 million on measured marketing in the U.S. last year.
Dean Foods, the largest processor and direct-to- store distributor of fresh milk in the United States, has named KBS agency of record. Dean Foods spent $38.5 million on measured media in the U.S. in 2016.
Following a review, seafood restaurant chain Long John Silver’s has appointed Baldwin& its lead creative agency.

Publicis New York has hired Paul Renner as executive VP/global creative director on the Citi account. Renner was most recently executive creative director at KBS New York.
Michelle Kunken has been appointed executive creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi New York. Kunken was most recently executive creative director at KBS.
The Martin Agency has parted ways with chief creative officer Joe Alexander.
Barton F. Graf has promoted Chris Stephens and Zoe Kessler to creative directors.
Kansas City-based Barkley has hired Jessica Walden-Morden as creative director.
Julian Katz has joined Mother as director of production for its New York and Los Angeles offices. Katz was most recently EVP/group executive producer at BBDO New York.
Airbnb has appointed Jenny Gadd to serve as its global head of production. Gadd joins from Ogilvy & Mather NY where she served as executive director of content production.
