Following a closed review initiated to cut costs, Johnson & Johnson, one of advertising’s biggest spenders, has consolidated and streamlined its creative business with two dedicated teams of WPP and Omnicom agencies. Omnicom’s dedicated agency will be comprised of talent from creative shops BBDO, DDB and Roberts & Langer. The new group will be led by Brian Nienhaus, who most recently led We Are Unlimited, Omnicom’s dedicated agency for McDonald’s. WPP’s dedicated group will pull talent and resources from JWT, digital shop VML, and Hogarth.

Following a review, The U.S. Air Force has decided to continue its relationship with agency partner of 17 years, GSD&M. The new contract is set to expire by Sept. 30, 2027 and is valued at approximately $741 million.

Following a review, BMW has appointed Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as its lead creative agency in the U.S. The other finalists in the pitch were Droga5, Wieden & Kennedy, Anomaly and Hill Holliday. The incumbent KBS did not defend the business.

Imax has hired TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles as its global creative agency.

Agency Creative/ Producers

A few months after two of its co-founders left to launch a new venture, David Miami has announced a series of leadership changes. Paulo Fogaca has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer, responsible for overseeing all three of David’s offices in Miami, São Paulo and Buenos Aires. He will also retain his responsibilities as managing director of the Miami office. Tony Kalathara was promoted to the role of executive group creative director, while Juan Peña Plaza and Ricardo Casa were promoted to executive creative director roles. Jason Wolske and Danny Alvarez were both promoted to group creative director. David head of global production Veronica Beach will take on increased responsibilities.

Danish director Torben Kjelstrup has joined Furlined for representation in the U.S. and the U.K.

Director Maged Nassar has joined the roster at Moxie Pictures.

Durable Goods has signed director Liz Hinlein for U.S. commercial representation.

Diktator has added Finnish director/photographer Viivi Huuska to its roster.

BAT (Bali Engel and Matt Landour) has joined the roster at Not To Scale.

Splendid & Co. has signed director Kevin Osgood.

Director Laurie Smith has joined the roster at Merman for worldwide representation.

RSA Films has hire Chris Karabas as executive producer.
