Following a review, Sunstar Americas has appointed Doner agency of record for its Gum dental products division.

Activision has named space150 social agency of record for its Call of Duty and Bungie’s Destiny franchises.

Agency Creative/ Producers

72andSunny group creative director Josh Fell has joined Anomaly as chief creative officer of the Los Angeles office, a newly created role.

Julie Scelzo has been named global executive creative director at McgarryBowen, a new role to lead creative across the American Express business worldwide. Scelzo was most recently in-house executive creative director at Pandora.

Digitas has promoted Atit Shah and Andrew Carlson to the roles of North America chief creative officers.

Chief creative officer Vann Graves and executive creative director Doug Darrigoare are leaving their positions at JWT Atlanta.

Christian Busch has joined TBWA\Chiat\Day as executive producer overseeing Nissan.

Aaron Kovan has joined VaynerMedia as its first chief production officer. Kovan was most recently EVP/head of integrated production at m:united/McCann.

Chris Klein has joined TBWA\Chiat\Day as executive producer.

BBH LA has hired Peter Williams as executive producer. Williams was most recently director of integrated content at World Surf League.

Chinkara Singh has moved to Area23 as VP/executive producer.

Mattie Yaco has returned to AKQA as director of production, based out of the D.C. studio.


Pulse Films has signed director Amma Asante for global representation.

Independent Films has added director Amelia Hashemi to its roster.

Animator and director Hannah Jacobs has joined the roster at Strange Beast.

Director Cynthia Wade has joined the roster at Honor Society for representation in the U.S.

Brother has signed director Maya Albanese.

Director Darren Statman has joined the roster at Yard Dog.

Jules Daly, president of RSA since 2001, is leaving her role to launch her own banner, Big Red Films, in association with Scott Free Productions. Following Daly’s departure, long-time commercials producer David Mitchell has been named managing director of RSA.

Recess Films has launched in L.A. and New York, headed up by industry veteran John Duffin as managing director, with partners Jonathan Notaro and Devin Brook, founder and managing partner, of Brand New School. Recess will operate independently from Brand New School, with its own roster of directors, including Ahmed Klink, Alastair McKevitt, Alexandra Gavillet, Fernando Cardenas, Marcus Ubungen and Rory Kelleher.
