Amtrak has selected a group of WPP agencies as its new agency of record. The Amtrak Partnership will be led by Y&R and the remit includes digital shop Wunderman. Amtrak spent an estimated $6.6 million on measured media in 2017.

Following a review, LinkedIn has appointed EP+Co as the platform’s first social-media agency for B2C.

Levi’s has appointed Heat agency of record for the denim brand’s Denizen line.

MPC N.Y. has appointed Camila De Biaggi to the role of senior executive producer and hired Angela Lupo as managing director. Lupo joins MPC N.Y. from Method Studios where she was VP, executive producer.

Framestore has promoted Anthony Gibbs to creative director.

MDC Partners’ Crispin Porter & Bogusky is closing its Los Angeles office, consolidating its North America operations in Boulder.

WPP is merging Y&R with VML. VML global chief executive officer Jon Cook will lead the new agency, which will be called VMLY&R. VML’s global chief creative, Debbi Vandeven, will take on the role of global chief creative at the combined agency.
