Following a review, BMW has appointed Cashmere, Los Angeles, as its multicultural U.S. agency lead.

BB&T Bank has selected Knoxville-based The Tombras Group as its agency of record.

Following a review, Deschutes Brewery has selected Opinionated, the agency launched by former W+K executive creative director Mark Fitzloff, as agency of record.

The Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has expanded its relationship with The BAM Connection, giving the agency fulltime assignments for four more of its brands in addition to its continued AOR duties for Yellow Tail.

Anomaly has promoted its Los Angeles-based chief creative officer Josh Fell to partner.

Goodby Silverstein & Partners has promoted David Suarez and Danny Gonzalez to executive creative directors.

Periscope has hired Heath Pochucha and Jason Bottenus as executive creative directors. Pochucha was most recently group creative director on the VW account at Deutsch L.A. Bottenus joins from Fallon, where he was a creative director.

Digital agency Isobar has named Ronald Ng EVP/global chief creative officer. Ng will be based out of New York.

Mistress has hired creative duo Michelle Sieg and Rose Chirillo.

Havas North America has parted ways with co-chairman and chief creative officer Jason Peterson.

Mariota Essery and Driscoll Reid have joined Sid Lee’s L.A. office as executive creative directors.

Seattle-based DNA has hired Gabe Hajiani as head of creation and content, a new role at the shop. Hajiani was previously partner at Wexley School for Girls.

Six weeks after the merger of VML and Y&R to form VMLY&R, the resulting agency announced further changes to its creative leadership: Y&R Global CCO Tony Granger is stepping down and will retire. Leslie Sims, CCO of Y&R North America, will be taking an as-yet undisclosed position at another WPP company. Chief creative duties for North America will be shared between John Godsey, VML’s former North American CCO, and Jason Xenopoulos, previously CEO and CCO of VML South Africa.

Thomas Punch, chief creative officer of Virtue, is leaving the company for production studio Spring Studios, where he will serve as global president and chief creative officer.
