Realtor.com has selected Brooklyn-based Huge as its creative agency of record, replacing incumbent Pereira & O’Dell on the account. Realtor.com spent $55.3 million on measured media in the U.S. in 2017.
Three months after consolidating its North American business with WPP’s VW partnership, Volkswagen has named Johannes Leonardo lead agency in the United States. Johannes Leonardo will serve as brand lead within the holding group team that will be based out of New York.
Kansas City-based Barkley has been appointed lead agency for Planet Fitness, replacing incumbent Hill Holliday. Planet Fitness spent $68.6 million on measured media in the U.S. in 2017.
Following a review, Harley-Davidson has named Droga5 as its new creative partner. The precise scope of the remit, and its effects on Harley-Davidson’s current relationship with IPG’s dedicated unit Team Ignite, are unclear at this time.
Signet Jewelers Group has appointed Zimmerman as its creative and strategic agency for Kay; and Badger & Winters as its agency of record for Zales. The Jeweler will continue to partner with McKinney on Jared. Signet Group spent an estimated $245.6 million in measured media in the U.S. in 2017.
Kroger, the nation’s second biggest retailer, has launched a review for its first-ever creative agency of record.
Used car retailer CarMax is reviewing its agency partners. North Carolina-based McKinney has worked with the brand since 2014 and is participating in the review. The company spent an estimated $97.9 million in measured media in the U.S. in 2017.

PR shop Edelman has hired Judy John as its first global chief creative officer. John joins from Leo Burnett, where she served as chief creative officer for North America and CEO for the agency in Canada.
