TGI Fridays has selected McCann to handle its U.S. creative advertising account. The account will be run out of McCann’s New York office.

Following a review, The University of Phoenix account has been awarded to TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles and RAPP.

Agency Creative/ Producers

David has named Francisco “Pancho” Cassis, former executive creative director of LOLA MullenLowe Madrid, as a partner and global chief creative officer.

David Miami executive creative directors Juan Javier Peña Plaza and Ricardo Casal are leaving the agency.

Nick Law has joined Apple in a new position, Vice President of Marcom Integration. Law was most recently Publicis Groupe chief creative officer and president of Publicis Communications.

Creatives Johan Eghammer and Johan Olivero have joined Forsman & Bodenfors to lead the New York office. Eghammer joins from CP+B and Olivero joins from the agency’s Stockholm office.

Minneapolis agency Carmichael Lynch has hired Orlee Tatarka as director of integrated production. Tatarka joins from W+K New York, where she spent over eight years, most recently as an executive producer


Director Grant Sputore has signed with Park Pictures for commercial representation in the U.S. and U.K.

Tool of North America has signed SNL director/writer Paul Briganti for commercials and branded content worldwide.

Sanctuary Content has signed documentary filmmaker Paul Hairston.

RadicalMedia has signed Fred Armisen for commercials and branded content.

Eli Green has joined the roster at Raucous Content.

Writer/directors Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz have joined the roster at RadicalMedia.

Stash Capar has joined the roster at Hey Baby.

One Twenty Nine Films has hired Robert Mulligan to serve as executive producer in New York.

Rich Pring and Cathleen O’Conor Stern have opened production company Reverie Content in L.A. The company launches with a roster that includes Raymond Bark, Mimi Cave, Joris Debeij, Jeff Feuerzeig, Natalia Leite, James Rath and François Vogel.


Tim Crean has been promoted from VFX supervisor to head of 2D at MPC New York.

MPC has hired Julien Aucounturier as sr. Flame/Nuke artist.

Dimitri Zola has been promoted to colorist at MPC LA.

The Mill Chicago has appointed Erica Hilbert as managing director and Tracey Khan as head of production.

Nice Shoes has hired Nick Litwinko as executive producer to helm its film and episodic VFX division


Paulo Fogaca, former managing director and global chief operating officer of DAVID Miami, is joining GUT as COO and partner. Fogaca will be responsible for overseeing the entire GUT operation across its three offices in Miami, São Paulo, and Buenos Aires.

Free the Bid has launched a new discovery service, Free the Work. Launch partners include Proctor & Gamble, AT&T, Facebook and Amazon Studios.
